Tetrathlon .... report by Laura Fraser
Junior competitors were Chloe Wood, Gemma Cosens and for the
boys James Miller and Will Golding. Will came 1st in
the boys competition and James came 3rd. Will
picked up rosettes for best shoot, swim, run and clear round
and James also picked up a clear round rosette.
Both boys were the only two in the boys competition to
complete a clear round.
In the girls competition Chloe came 11th and Gemma came 14th
and were 4th in the team competition competing in a mixed
team.
During the season a league table for the juniors has been
compiled throughout the country for each area. The top 6
juniors in each group (boys & girls) would go through to
represent their area at the junior South East Area Team
Competition which is running along side the Area Competition
on Saturday 24th July & Sunday 25th July taking place at
Sevenoaks School and Borde Hill. The great news is that we
have 4 children from OS&B representing Area 11 and they are
Chloe Wood, Will Golding, George Matthews and James Miller.

We had no minis competing and only had
one mini mini girl Maisie Hodge who had her best score to

The mini mini triathlon was also very
successful for our boys team of Jack Siggs, Archie Reid and
Edward Daniell who won the team event Jack came second
overall and Edward 5th all did personal bests for their
swims and all did clear rounds. Again Poppet came into her
own being ridden by both Archie & Edward. And we mustn't
forget Sophie Moss our sole mini mini girl triathlete who
came 2nd out of 18 competitors with a clear round and
amazing swim and run for somebody so small.
