To book in for General Rallies with Susie Ward please telephone Susie and she will put your name down on the list. You will need to send payment before the rally with a booking form which can be found by clicking on the link to the left.

Thank you for your patience! Booking Forms are new to us too!

The dates for the weekly summer rallies at Carewell for 2012 will be updated when available:

Day rallies cost £10 each and children need to bring a packed lunch. Children may be left at the rally and collected at the end of the day provided that the person in charge at the caravan on the day has been advised and that emergency contact telephone numbers are left (please note that ponies must not be tied to an unhitched trailer).

At every rally, children of all ages will be catered for, including seniors. There will be mounted instruction in the mornings with either fun activities or stable management sessions in the afternoons. For the older children, there will be Riding & Road Safety, C test, C+ test and B test training in the afternoons.

To book in, please telephone Susie Ward on 01342 810394 (no calls after 8pm please as Susie's husband works shifts - messages can be left on her ansaphone) and then confirm using the attached booking form and cheque. You can book for several rallies using one form and one cheque. Click on this link for entry form. Please book in at least a week in advance - the earlier you book in, the easier it is for us to book appropriate instructors.

Regards,

Caroline Matthews

Rally at Lockskinners.

The rally at Lockskinners was attended by 11 Pony Club Members who took part in flat work, cross country, and a shoeing demonstration given by Master Farrier Michael Cerullo and his apprentice Shaun. Sunny weather made the day even more enjoyable.

The photos show Harriet Gillam getting to grips with taking a shoe off, instructed by third year apprentice farrier Shaun.
