Show Jumping Phase

The test
Consists of one round
of the course, there is no jump off.
The course
The course shall
consist of not less than 7 nor more than 10 numbered obstacles.
A combination must be included.
Penalties
- Knocking down an
obstacle 4 penalties
- First
disobedience of
horse 4 penalties
- Second
disobedience of horse in whole course 8

crossing tracks between fences counts as one disobedience)

Competitors incurring
more than 24 SJ penalties may be allowed to go XC. It is at the
discretion of the Official Steward.
Competitors eliminated
for technical reasons (starting before the bell) may be allowed
to go XC at the discretion of the Official Steward.
Scoring
Any jumping and time
penalties will be added together to give the competitor’s
penalty points for this phase.
