Checklist
Prior to
event
- Practice the
correct dressage test copies available from website and
check schedule
- Ring or look on
line for start times schedule will detail the procedure
and date available
- Directions to
venue
- Place horse
passport and vaccination documents in vehicle
- Camera
- Most venues do
not have water facilities
- Grooming fit,
clean and fitting tack, horse feed, hay etc.
- Most venues have
catering facilities but it could be a long day
- Riding attire

On arrival
- Collect bib /
number a deposit will be required, have the correct amount
as they never give change
- Re-check start
times
- Check which
dressage arena you will be riding in sometimes up to four
running at the same time
- Ensure you are
tack checked usually have to present at least 20 minutes
prior to test. Some branches may also tack check at the
start of the Cross country phase.
- Ensure you are at
each phase in plenty of time, warmed up and ready to go in
numerical order
- Walk Show jumping
and Cross country phases if you havent done so already

event

giving (unmounted) in Dressage phase attire
- Please find the
branch secretary of the organising club and say thank you
personally; this applies however you have done. To organise
an event is a huge undertaking and we need to show that we
appreciate all their efforts.
At home
I will be at most
events but please send me an e-mail letting me know how youve
got on during the day with any pictures. I can then compile a
report and have it placed on our website.
